Dhalkoot

 Is one of the mandates of the Governorate of Dhofar, Sultanate of Oman,  by geographical features sight wonderful to make it one of the attractions, but to make them competitive tourist strong for the most beautiful tourist cities in the world, it is the mandate of the Dhalkoot, which is characterized by natural beauty that combines mountain and sea and greenery everywher.

 

Characterized by the state Dhalkootnatural terrain setting combine Heights green mountains on one side and its proximity to the beach overlooking the Arabian Sea on the other hand, in addition to the many caves and natural, which was an ancient sanctuary for humans and animals in the face of fluctuations in the weather and are now with the eyes and the beaches and green mountains of the parameters tourism and tourist attractions in the state.

The long period of rainfall in the autumn in the state of Dhalkoot, and continue greening the earth in some parts of the state for a period of six months, especially in areas of slopes of the mountain adjacent to the beaches, and in some other locations in the villages (Khadrfa) and (Deem),

Featuring the state with its beautiful beaches

 extending from the state Rakhyout near Khor Khrvot, even access to the last border areas, and is estimated along the shore a distance of 35 km, but most of them touches the mountain slopes, and therefore difficult to walk on these shores only by small boats, which starts from the port of Dilkot, particularly during the monsoon lull after the fall.

Featuring-shore Ptaang green mountains with the sea waves, and there are some small bays, which are the best locations for a walk, enjoying the privacy and tranquility, due to lack of visitors, as well as to attract the numbers of rare sea birds, which are endemic to this region and other varieties of migratory birds.

And can reach some of the beaches by car and enjoy the stroll, namely, which is located in the center of the state, and extends to a distance of 4 kilometers, and can enjoy the scenes of sunrise and sunset on these shores, due to the presence of gradients magnificent mountain ranges in the far horizon.

Ancient monuments and the state is an old mosque built nearly 350 years and there are remains of walls of the walled cemetery in the best missed.

This has led to the existence of perennial trees, characterized by the high volume of its trunk, and most famous of these trees, tree exotic and called locally (Hiram Aziri) to distinguish the high volume of its trunk, which is well known in the province of Dhofar, and tourists can watch them overlook the beach to the left of the street before access to the center of the state.
